Type the Bible!

Jun 25, 2015 | | 2 comments

Even though it’s been many years now I can still clearly remember being given a Bible when I was 18 and reading it for the first time. Every story was a new exciting mystery waiting to be revealed and each verse and chapter cranked like a wench to drag my stubborn heart closer to God. The Bible has transformed how I live and what I believe more than anything else. When I set out to create a typing website I wanted to add my favorite book to it and I’m very happy to have finally completed the task. To my knowledge there is no other project like this in existence, and I hope that it can be a double blessing as people learn how to type. You can find the Bible typing exercises under the main lessons page at the bottom, or go there directly here. I hope you enjoy the site, please let me know if you find any issues.

  1. Thank you so much, Mr. Schorey, for creating a website where we can practice typing WITH the bible. It is really a blessing. Is there any way to be able to pause the program as interruptions from the phone or others can happen? What version of the bible is it? I appreciate your contribution. God bless you.

    1. Thanks for your kind comments, I’m glad you’re enjoying it. The Bible version used is the “NET” Bible see: http://netbible.com/ for more information on it. The NET Bible was my Bible of choice in seminary, and they have a pretty liberal copyright which makes it good for a website like this. As of now I’m sorry, but there’s no way to pause the program while typing. Blessings.
